We're seeking a dynamic Head Sommelier for our intimate fine dining venue in Armadale, Melbourne
This is a role ideally suited to an organised and driven professional who is looking to take a step forward in their career and make a mark on Melbourne's unique wine scene.
The successful applicant will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
- Wine list maintenance such as stock management, admin, and cellar upkeep
- Creating beverage pairings to suit the contemporary nature of the food
- Driving our guest experience through a diverse beverage program
- Running smooth services
- Tailoring beverage offerings for special events and functions
- Day to day operational and administrative duties
- Building guest relationships
- Creating business connections within the hospitality community
- Guiding AMARU forward as a leading fine dining destination

To be successful in this role, you should have previous wine experience in a Head Sommelier or Assistant position, be capable of nurturing our guests' experience and meanwhile maintain the high standards and consistency of the business. An impeccable personal presentation and a good wine and food knowledge are essential.
