Maintenance/Grounds Staff
This role focuses on maintaining the school's grounds, gardens, and outdoor facilities. It involves the operation and maintenance of irrigation systems, as well as performing general handyman duties across campus.
1. Grounds Maintenance:
o Maintain lawns, gardens, trees, and landscaped areas to ensure a safe environment.
o Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and tractors.
o Undertake seasonal planting, pruning, mulching, and weed control.
2. Irrigation Systems Knowledge
3. General Handyman Tasks:
o Assist with event setup and pack down.
o Conduct routine inspections of outdoor facilities and equipment to ensure functionality and safety.
o Report maintenance issues and assist in planning grounds improvement projects.
4. Work Health and Safety:
o Comply with Work Health and Safety policies and procedures.
o Ensure safe use and storage of tools, machinery, and materials.
o Identify and report potential hazards for a safe working environment.
