Job Description
This is a full-time, tenurable appointment available at either Level B or Level C, depending on the successful applicant's qualifications, experience and achievements. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering innovative teaching in Mathematics, Science, or English for primary education, coordinating units and courses, and contributing to curriculum design and assessment practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A completed doctorate in the field of Education or a closely related field.
* Demonstrated ability to deliver innovative high quality teaching approaches, assessment and materials for units and courses.
* Demonstrated ability to teach online or in flexible modes.
* Demonstrated record and expertise in teaching in Mathematics, or Science or English in a primary teacher education course.
* A demonstrable track record in excellence in research evidenced by peer-reviewed journal articles published in high quality journals relative to opportunity.
* Demonstrate evidence of successful supervision or co-supervision of HDR students, relative to opportunity.
* Demonstrable experience of participation in professional and scholarly activities engagements that promote research and/or education outcome, government and industry.
Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range: Level B, $118,150 – $139,812 and Level C, $144,143 - $165,809 p.a. (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation. In addition to this, we offer a stimulating work environment, opportunities for professional development, and a commitment to diversity and inclusion.
