Project Manager – Mechanical, Fabrication & Construction
The Wulguru Group is currently seeking experienced Project Managers to join our expanding team based in Townsville.
With a strong pipeline of secured projects across Northern Australia, this is an exciting opportunity to become part of a well-established, locally owned engineering and construction company delivering critical projects across a range of heavy industry sectors.

As our business continues to grow, we are looking to strengthen our team with experienced Project Managers who can contribute to the successful delivery of projects across several areas of our operations, including:
* Mechanical and Piping Projects
* Rail Maintenance Projects
* Steel Fabrication and Construction Projects

About the Role
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing projects from planning through to completion, ensuring work is delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.
You will work closely with clients, engineers, supervisors and trades to coordinate project delivery and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and deliver engineering and construction projects from start to completion
• Ensure projects meet required specifications, safety and quality standards
• Plan and coordinate labour, materials and subcontractors
• Monitor project progress to achieve milestones and delivery deadlines
• Manage project budgets, cost control and forecasting
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements

Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role you will ideally have:
• Experience as a Project Manager in engineering, construction or heavy industry
• A trade background or engineering qualification
• Experience delivering industrial, fabrication, mechanical or infrastructure projects
• Strong knowledge of project scheduling and cost control
• G1, G8 & G9 (S1, S2 & S3) qualifications (or willingness to obtain)
This role may also suit a recent Engineering Graduate seeking to gain practical industry experience working alongside experienced project professionals.
