MRH Lawyers is seeking an experienced full-time conveyancer to join our team in our Fraser Coast office.
About the role
The suitable candidate will primarily focus on completing conveyancing matters from start to finish.
In many conveyancing tasks, time is of the essence, so the ability to prioritise and provide accurate work efficiently is the key to success. You will run files from beginning to end including all administrative tasks.
This role provides for a lot of autonomy and the opportunity to make it your own, whilst working closely with the Principal Lawyers who will be overseeing the matters.
Skills and experience
The successful applicant must display the following:
* A minimum of 2 years previous experience in Conveyancing is required;
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills;
* Be proficient in computer systems including MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook;
* Excellent work ethic and initiative and professional appearance;
* Extensive Experience with PEXA and QRO is required;
* Experience with Smokeball is preferred;
* Impeccable time management, ensuring diligent file preparation and task management;
* The ability to juggle and prioritise competing tasks;
* The ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines;
* The ability to work autonomously, and more importantly, the ability to seek answers where information provided may not be clear;
* The ability to correspond professionally with all parties involved in a transaction;
* Basic understanding of the conveyancing process; and
* A genuine interest in coordinating all aspects of a sale or purchase from initial negotiations (including contract preparation or advice) through to settlement.
