Responsibilities
Provide expert legal advice relating to complex prosecutions.
Represent the prosecution before all courts of the Northern Territory and the High Court of Australia in jury trials, complex summary prosecutions, appeals and related matters.
Advocate as a Crown Prosecutor with trial experience.
Qualifications
Admitted or eligible for admission as a barrister or solicitor of the High Court or a Supreme Court of a State or Territory of Australia.
Experience in jury trial.
Demonstrated extensive knowledge and understanding of criminal and evidence law.
Exceptional communication skills combined with strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
Rewards
Competitive salary of $148,302 - $161,638 inclusive of 12% superannuation.
