About the role
We are currently seeking a Scientist to join our Scientific and Technical Services team (S&TS) at the Melbourne Processing Centre. As an S&TS Scientist you will provide scientific services, support and problem solving to the regional manufacturing team to enable delivery of production outcomes. The role functions across a number of Lifeblood's operational divisions, working with both internal and external customers, with a primary focus on supporting the Manufacturing & Logistics teams. It delivers scientific expertise, problem solving, technical know‐how, and a high level of customer service to ensure operational goals are met. You will also provide advice and scientific knowledge to investigate and manage test anomalies, equipment faults and deviations that may fall outside routine operation procedures. The role may support implementation of local and national projects, providing a link between project teams and regional production teams.
Qualifications
* Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science or related discipline, or registration with the Australian Institute of Medical and Clinical Scientists (AIMS) for internationally qualified applicants
* Experience with lean manufacturing processes
* Experience in a regulated production environment adhering to GMP and GLP and NPAAC guidelines
* Demonstrated commitment to deliver outcomes to required standards
* Highly developed interpersonal skills with a collaborative working style
* Strong customer focus with ability to identify improvement initiatives
* Outstanding team player who supports achievement of shared goals
* Self‐motivated with excellent time management and problem‐solving skills
Salary & Benefits
* Salary ranging between $100,000‐$110,000 + Super + Salary Packaging and more
