**Your Opportunity**
**Your key responsibilities will be to**:
- Undertake a range of activities for the upkeep and tidiness of the property
- Organise, supervise and monitor completion of essential minor maintenance
- Identify any breakages or necessary upgrades and make recommendations
- Ensure that rooms are clean and prepared for incoming residents
- Maintain ongoing communication with the Program Manager regarding the property upkeep including identifying large maintenance needs required and recommending appropriate solutions
- Maintain the following on site:
- Gas, water tanks, troughs, plumbing and septic systems
- Solar energy generation system.
- UV water filtration system
- Tractor and other farm machinery
- Fences, gates and paddocks (including weeds)
- Debris is cleared and fire protocols are followed
- Establish positive working relationships with Residents, endeavouring to understand and interpret their behaviour, thus influencing positive attitudinal and behavioural change
- Ensure the maintenance of Log and Communication Books as described in the Policy and Procedure Manual
**Requirements for Success**
- Extensive experience in a relevant trade or building maintenance role
- Relevant trade qualification or building maintenance qualification
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116 is desirable
- Knowledge of land and small animal care.
- Skilled in general maintenance and operation of farm machinery
- Experience and qualifications in working with young people is desirable
- Evidence of Covid 19 Vaccination
