**THE ROLE**
We're looking for an Accounts Receivable Officer to join our team in Rochedale. Reporting to the National Credit Manager, the primary purpose of this role is to manage a portfolio of our customer accounts, ensuring prompt and accurate reconciliations as well as processing and allocating customer payments.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Managing processes to ensure customers pay within terms and credit limits
- Processing and receipting customer payments
- Maintaining customer accounts in line with policy and approvals
- Providing exceptional Internal and External Customer Service
- Supporting the Credit Manager and Senior Accounts Receivable Officer as required
**THE PERSON**
To be successful in this role, you will also possess the following:
- Extensive experience in accounts receivable functions with strong reconciliation skills
- Proactive research, analysis, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Involvement with process improvement and system improvement projects
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders in a professional manner
- Intermediate level of Word and Excel
