Position Summary
The Investment Analyst will play a key role in supporting strategic investment and development activities across a diversified portfolio. While the primary focus is on real estate development, the role also provides exposure to funds management, hospitality, infrastructure, and private equity-style transactions.
Working closely with the Investment Manager – who brings high performance standards and strong mentoring capabilities – you will gain hands-on experience across the full investment lifecycle. The position also collaborates regularly with the Head of Strategy and Growth and middle management across various operating businesses, offering broad insight into group-level business strategy.

Responsibilities
Investment Analysis & Financial Modelling
* Build institutional-grade financial models to assess project feasibility, evaluate investment returns, and support capital structuring.
* Undertake detailed commercial analysis across sectors including property development, infrastructure, funds management, and private equity.
* Apply private equity-style thinking to assess business models, growth strategies, and exit scenarios.
Transaction Execution & Due Diligence
* Support due diligence processes for acquisitions, joint ventures, and capital raisings.
* Assist with transaction structuring and coordination of external advisors (legal, tax, consultants).
Materials & Stakeholder Communication
* Prepare high-quality investment materials including pitch decks, investment memorandums, and internal board papers.
* Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders such as capital partners, legal advisors, and consultants.
Research & Strategic Insights
* Monitor macro trends, sector dynamics, and transaction benchmarks to support investment decisions and portfolio strategy.
* Assist in pipeline tracking, performance reporting, and post-investment analysis.
Knowledge and Skills
* 4 – 6 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, property development, or a related field.
* Advanced financial modelling skills, with the ability to build feasibility and DCF models from scratch.
* Strong commercial acumen and analytical capabilities; able to extract actionable insights from complex datasets.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated experience in preparing institutional-grade materials.
* Exposure to the property sector is essential. Experience in infrastructure, funds management, or private equity is highly regarded.
Education
* Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Economics, Property, Commerce, or a related discipline.
* Progress toward professional accreditation (e.g., CFA, CA, CPA) will be viewed favorably.
