The Role
We're seeking a skilled Maintenance Carpenter to join our team. In this mobile role, you'll travel in a company-supplied vehicle to residential and commercial sites, carrying out remedial and renovation work on interior and exterior building elements – including doors, cabinetry, locks, gyprock, tiling, painting, and paving. You'll play a vital part in keeping client facilities safe, functional, and well-presented.

What You'll Be Doing
Perform repairs on cabinetry, counters, benches, trims, doors, partitions and frameworks
Carry out painting, tiling, paving, lock replacements and other remedial works
Travel across Newcastle and surrounding sites in a company-supplied vehicle
Complete administrative tasks – record, update and upload job details on iPad
Support a collaborative trades team to deliver quality outcomes
Ensure compliance with WHSE standards and BGIS systems
Your Education, Experience & Skills
Certificate III in Carpentry (mandatory)
Experience working in residential and/or commercial environments
Construction White Card (mandatory)Current driver's licence (mandatory)
Strong problem-solving and finishing skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Full working rights in Australia (essential)
