We are seeking a dedicated IT Support Technician to join our dynamic team in the Cabinet Making industry. This role is crucial in ensuring that our technology and systems run smoothly, supporting the daily operations of our business. As an IT Support Technician, you will be on the front lines of technical support, helping to troubleshoot issues that arise within our organization. Your expertise will not only help in resolving hardware and software problems but also in preventing future disruptions by implementing effective solutions and maintenance strategies. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various technologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing top-notch customer service. You will work closely with team members across departments, assisting them with IT-related inquiries and maintaining an efficient technical environment. Additionally, you will have opportunities to participate in IT projects that enhance our infrastructure and improve our workflow. Key responsibilities for this role will include but are not limited to:

· Experience with Microsoft 365, and Windows environments.

· Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

· Strong customer support skills.

· High level of organisation, planning and time management skills.

· Demonstrate ability to work efficiently in an unsupervised environment

· Ability to take direction and follow procedures

· Demonstrate motivation in relation to setting and achieving goals

· Good problem-solving skills with the understanding of how to identify problems, overcome them and suggest improvements

· Being able to use your initiative

· Understanding company processes & department KPI's

· Ability to organise and prioritise daily tasks

· Ability to build effective & ongoing client relationships;

· Technical Support

Provide Level 1 and Level 2 helpdesk support for hardware, software, and network issues; troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals; assist users with Microsoft 365 applications, OneDrive, and device management; maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions.

· Systems Maintenance

Assist with maintaining and upgrading computer hardware and software; maintain asset registers for IT equipment.

· Project Work

Participate in IT projects such as network equipment refreshes, user onboarding; develop and update Knowledge Base documentation for common issues and processes.

The successful candidate will have the following attributes:

* · Must be an Australian citizen or have permanent residency
* · Have a positive approach to learning
* · Be well presented, motivated, reliable, punctual with a strong work ethic
* · Exceptional time management and organisational skills
* · Self-motivated
* · Well-developed communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills;
* Sound understanding of Windows desktop;
* Experience with client PC connectivity, including patching, Ethernet, TCP/IP, and VPN;
* Strong skills in managing and supporting systems such as Microsoft 365, and AV technologies;
* Proficiency in setting up and maintaining hardware such as desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices;
* Excellent communication with a proactive, customer-focused approach;
* Experience with MS Teams Voice (desirable but not essential);
