Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated, proactive and enthusiastic Building Automation Professional to join our team.
The successful applicant will be tasked with providing service to major contracts across multiple sites, assisting clients with end-of-life and minor works projects and reactive works.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide Service, Preventative Maintenance and Commissioning of BMCS/DDC control systems including EasyIO, Tridium and Alerton.
* Ensure customer satisfaction through direct liaison with clients across multiple sites and drive continuous improvements to customer's sites.
* Data analysis of BMS/HVAC including control systems, fault finding and problem solving.
* Early identification, notification, escalation, and mitigation of risks that impact system performance or customer experience.
* Determining job priorities and meeting deadlines with minimal supervision.
* Assisting with engineering of BMS projects under the guidance of Contract Manager and Technical Supervisors - BMS/Building Automation.
* Use of knowledge and experience to bring additional perspective to technical challenges and work with peers to solve and innovate on technical challenges.
* Mentoring and guidance support to junior engineers and other technicians.
* Maintaining industry knowledge and monitoring market developments.
Requirements
To succeed in this role you must have a strong background in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electrical Engineering or HVAC / Electrical trade qualification or equivalent qualification by experience. Problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose issues in a disciplined and methodical manner are also essential. Additionally, you should have intermediate experience with Microsoft Office Suite and strong English verbal and written communication skills.

What You Need to Know
No prior experience as a Service/Field/Electrical technician (HVAC/BMS) is required but demonstrated experience in servicing and maintenance of technical equipment for commercial business is desirable. It would be beneficial if you have intermediate experience with programming languages such as Python or C++.
