Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Inventory Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our inventory management systems.
Main Responsibilities:
* To manage and maintain accurate records of stock levels, parts, and equipment within the Engineering Department.
* To plan, administer, and review processes for receiving, purchasing, and controlling goods and materials.
* To ensure compliance with OH&S policies and quality standards through effective resource use and control.
* To develop and/or maintain stock databases for storing spare parts and materials relevant to plant reliability.
* To manage parts and equipment references, including storage types and identification.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Detailed understanding of inventory management systems and principles.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Prior experience in a similar role or industry is highly desirable.

Quality Auditing:
The successful candidate will be required to conduct regular reviews on stock quantities, stock prices, and material utilisation to maximise usage, minimise wastage, and ensure the most competitive prices are gained.
Part and Equipment Management Systems:
The Maintenance/Engineering Stores Coordinator will develop and/or maintain stock database for storing spare parts and materials relevant to plant reliability, and manage parts and equipment references to ensure storage types (i.e. bins, drawers, boxes) are identifiable and easily located in onsite storage facilities.
Quality & OHS Systems:
The successful candidate will be proactive in improving safe work practices and workplace environments by monitoring, applying and promoting Hazeldene's policies in all work practices.
