Part-time Payroll Officer opportunity

**Your new role**
The responsibilities of the Payroll Officer will include, but not limited to:
- Ensure Salaries & wages are paid on time and meet the requirements of all Government regulations and awards
- Collect and maintain personnel records
- Calculate and compile salaries and wages on a fortnightly basis
- Provide all, fortnightly and monthly payroll reports as required by the Payroll client
- Prepare PAYG payment summaries and EOY reporting as required by members
- Pay wages electronically as requested by the Guild Payroll customers
- Assist with the on-boarding, implementation & customer support of new payroll customers
- Monitor annual, personal, and long service leave entitlements and pay accordingly
- Maintain a reasonable knowledge of Industrial regulations governing the pharmacy industry and maintain a good knowledge of awards and interpretations
- Liaise when required with clients and their staff regarding any payroll issues
- Undertake other clerical duties as required
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Demonstrated experience in preparation and delivery of multiple large/medium payrolls
- Previous experience in payroll packages is essential
- Experience in award interpretation is essential
- The ability to work autonomously and able to meet tight deadlines
