About the Role
This is a leadership opportunity for a Registered Nurse to manage and lead a team within a medium/large aged care service in Tasmania. As a Clinical Care Manager, you will be responsible for providing clinical guidance to residents and care staff, undertaking resident assessments and case conferencing, and ensuring compliance and quality indicators are met.
You will thrive in this role if you have excellent communication skills, are able to establish and build effective relationships with residents and families, and are willing to provide hands-on clinical support when required.
* Provide clinical guidance to residents & care staff
* Undertake resident assessments & case conferencing
* Accurate completion, review & updating of relevant documentation
* Motivation, training & development of clinical team members
* Ensure compliance & quality indicators are met
Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have the following key responsibilities:
* Lead and manage a team of Registered Nurses and Clinical Care Coordinators
* Develop and implement strategies to improve resident outcomes and quality of care
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
* Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* AHPRA Registered Nurse registration with previous leadership experience
* Up-to-date working knowledge and experience achieving accreditation standards
* Ability to identify and improve areas of clinical risk and quality guidelines
