Newtrend IT are looking for an experienced IT Support technician to join our team. The right candidate will assist to support our client base both through remote and onsite methods.
We are looking for someone who is mature, focused, great communicator and a team player.
Initially We would support you to work from home until our new office is ready to go
We would fly you to Perth initially for training and onboarding, following this, regular visits to Perth for team immersion would be scheduled.

SKILLS REQUIRED
* You will be able to confidently and consistently provide first rate customer service.
* You will have excellent verbal and written "no geek speak" communication skills.
* A solid work ethic and drive to get the job done thoroughly and correctly.
* Well-developed troubleshooting skills.
* Broad network administration and/or support experience.
* Minimum 2-3 years of experience in IT support and network administration is required.
Experience in the following technologies (preferred, not essential )
* Windows Server
* Server roles and services (DHCP, DNS, DFSR, AD, etc)
* MS Windows based workstations
* Hypervisor technologies - Hyper-v, Vmware
* Cloud technologies such as AWS, Google Cloud and Office365/Azure
* Active Directory
* Group Policy / Intune
* Office 365 technologies
* Network Devices (Routers, Switches, WAPs etc)
* Network Services
* Backup Technologies (Shadowprotect and Veeam)
* Connectwise and Labtech
* MSP tools
* Telephony - 3CX, Cisco and cloud hosted PBX
Any other specialist skills you may possess are also of interest to us. If you have solid technical skills and are interested in working for an MSP that will allow you to provide next level of service to your clients, we're keen to hear from you.
