As a key member of the project team, you will oversee subcontractors and manage commercial and contract matters related to subcontracts.
Synopsis

Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining project subcontracting strategies, preparing and reviewing tendering processes, and negotiating contracts.
You will also be responsible for monitoring supplier and contract compliance, ensuring policies and procedures are met.
Main Responsibilities
1. Subcontractor Management: Oversee subcontractors and ensure they meet project requirements.
2. Commercial Management: Develop and maintain project budget, ensuring adequate allocation to subcontracts.
3. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with subcontracts, including insurance issues.
4. Contract Administration: Prepare and review tendering and formation of all subcontracts.
5. Communication: Provide input to cost control and forecasting of final cost at completion position for all subcontracts.
Requirements
* A tertiary qualification in an appropriate engineering, quantity surveying, finance, accounting, legal or business discipline is preferable.
* At least 7 years' experience in the engineering and construction/infrastructure industries.
* A minimum of 7 years' direct experience as a commercial or contracts manager on large value engineering and construction projects.
