As a key member of our logistics team, the warehouse store-person plays a pivotal role in facilitating the smooth flow of materials throughout the facility.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Upon receiving shipments, thoroughly inspect goods for accuracy and verify against documentation to ensure seamless integration into our operations.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies or incomplete shipments in a timely manner.
* Efficiently identify and document any damaged or nonconforming materials to minimize disruptions.
* Accurately log received goods in purchase orders and update relevant information within our enterprise resource planning system.
* Prepare outbound shipments with meticulous attention to detail, verifying accuracy and ensuring secure packaging to prevent damage during transit.
* Maintain immaculate records, filing systems, and archives as required to support operational efficiency.
* Ensure the warehouse is organized, clean, and compliant with established procedures at all times.
* Adhere to strict safety protocols and company policies to safeguard personnel and assets.
* Retrieve, stock, and distribute parts efficiently to meet production schedules.
Requirements:
* High school diploma (HS Diploma) or equivalent, supplemented by relevant warehouse experience.
* Prior experience operating forklifts and valid certification are essential.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime when necessary.
* Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office, is mandatory.
* Strong multitasking capabilities and ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment are critical.
* Willingness to learn and contribute to multiple functions through cross-training is expected.
* Capacity to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and transporting materials safely, is a must.
