Details: Infrastructure Canberra has an opportunity available for the position of Executive Officer to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) .
Reporting to the COO, the Executive Officer works with a high degree of autonomy and is responsible for providing timely, high-quality information and advice to the COO. The role involves leading the day-to-day business for the COO, including key communications, governance, financial management, human resources, records management, and other accountabilities related to Cabinet Business for Infrastructure Canberra (iCBR).
What You Will Do:
1. Prioritize and coordinate workflow through the COO concerning iCBR's projects and various government reporting requirements (e.g., Question Time Briefs, Questions on Notice, Estimates and Annual Report hearing briefs, ministerial briefs, inter-governmental correspondence, etc.).
2. Undertake research and analysis, and prepare and coordinate reports, briefs, correspondence, and integrated responses.
3. Ensure quality control of documents and monitor all papers being tabled in governance meetings for correctness and consistency.
4. Coordinate and review incoming and outgoing communication and documentation, including confidential and sensitive information for the COO.
5. Provide secretarial and administrative support to the COO, including preparing agendas and papers for meetings, recording, transcribing, and distributing minutes.
