Job Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Business Coordinator to support the delivery and oversight of a leading cultural learning program.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Program Manager to ensure operational effectiveness and compliance, delivering high-level business, procurement and financial management services. This is a desktop-based leadership support role that offers opportunities for systems improvement, strategic project contribution, and strengthening two-way learning outcomes in remote communities.
The ideal candidate will be adaptable, self-motivated, and committed to supporting Aboriginal-led initiatives. They will have strong coordination and stakeholder skills, with experience designing efficient systems and supporting program delivery. A detail-oriented business professional with financial knowledge will thrive in this role, leveraging their expertise to enable real community impact.
Key responsibilities include:
* Budget oversight and contractor coordination
* Reporting, procurement, and stakeholder engagement
* Designing and implementing effective business systems and processes
To succeed in this role, you will require:
* A Bachelor of Business Management or Financial Management, or a minimum of 3 years relevant experience covering program development, business/financial/project/contract management
* Experience in developing and maintaining practical business systems and processes in supporting business strategy
* High level cross-cultural, interpersonal and verbal communication skills
