We are seeking a Residential Youth Care Specialist to support at-risk youth in a nurturing environment. This role involves providing personal care, education facilitation, and emotional support to help these young people thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting the daily needs of residents
Facilitating educational activities and workshops
Providing guidance and mentorship to promote healthy relationships and life skills
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
Engaging residents in recreational activities to foster a sense of community and belonging
Requirements:
A Certificate IV in Youth Work or equivalent qualification
Current First Aid & CPR certification
Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals
Empathy and understanding of the challenges faced by at-risk youth
Flexible approach to working in a dynamic environment
