Assistant Stock Controller
Geelong Motors Pty Ltd is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Stock Controller to join our growing team. The Role
This is a sales operations role, which is the engine room of our business. Working closely with the Sales and Administration teams, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth processing and management of vehicle stock, registrations, and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
• Support vehicle stock control processes
• Process VicRoads registrations and transfers in line with compliance requirements
• Maintain accurate registration records and manage plate inventory
• Data entry and document management
• Liaise with internal departments to ensure a seamless customer journey
• Process vehicle sales paperwork
• Assist with vehicle intakes and dealer swaps
• Support floorplan and stock management
• Use Dealer Management System (DMS) software accurately
• Provide timely reporting on stock levels and vehicle availability
About You
You are organised, detail-focused, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You enjoy working as part of a team and take pride in accuracy and efficiency.
• Previous administration experience (automotive industry highly regarded)
• Familiarity with VicRoads systems (advantageous but not essential)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Excellent time management and ability to prioritise tasks
• Confident communication skills
• Strong computer, numerical and analytical skills
• Willingness to learn and follow established processes
