Job Title: Delivery Manager

We are seeking a skilled professional to manage the delivery of our water program of works across the southern region. The successful candidate will oversee the overall project, ensuring it is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

About the Role:
\
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced delivery manager to join our team. As a key member of the delivery team, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
\
Main Responsibilities:
\
\
1. Manage the overall delivery of the project, ensuring it is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards;
\
2. Assign resources to deliver the works, monitor and guide workflow, setting daily, weekly and long-term project goals;
\
3. Provide constructability input to the design;
\
4. Review progress against plans, contractual arrangements and delivery milestones to ensure they are on schedule and within quality and cost estimates;
\
5. Ensure strong contract, commercial and financial risk management, accurate forecasting of both costs and revenue;
\
6. Monitor staff and labour resourcing to ensure the project is achieving targets;
\
7. Perform all duties in accordance with our policies, processes, systems, reporting and procedures;
\
8. Identify and manage project changes;
\
9. Contribute to and foster a good safety culture;
\
10. Lead by example, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment;
\
11. Demonstrate strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and empower teams;
\
12. Promote a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and creativity;
\
13. Maintain accurate records, reports and documentation, as required;
\
14. Participate in performance reviews, providing constructive feedback and guidance to team members.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

15. A degree in engineering or a related field;
\
16. Recent experience managing medium to large projects;
\
17. Strong leadership and communication skills;
\
18. Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
\
19. Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills;
\
20. Excellent time management and organisational skills;
\
21. A high level of integrity, ethics and professionalism;
\
22. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and circumstances;

23. Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to make informed decisions.
