National Sales Manager Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and experienced sales professional to lead our oncology team nationwide. As the ideal candidate, you will have a strong background in pharmaceutical sales or related medical fields with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic new national sales team and contribute to the growth and success of the company. You will be responsible for leading a team of sales representatives across key hospital accounts, driving commercial success by developing and executing national sales strategies.

* Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of sales professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, clinical excellence, and collaboration.
* Conduct regular coaching and joint customer visits to support performance, capability development, and customer engagement.
* Drive the implementation of national oncology sales strategies in alignment with brand and therapeutic objectives.
* Collaborate closely with marketing, medical, and access teams to deliver cohesive prescriber engagement and account plans.
* Identify capability gaps and lead tailored training initiatives to enhance product knowledge and selling skills.
* Monitor team performance and KPIs, managing resources to ensure optimal return on investment.
* Embed best-practice standards across territory planning, CRM utilisation, and stakeholder relationship management.

Requirements:

* Minimum 5 years' experience as a National Sales Manager or Regional Sales Manager, ideally within the pharmaceutical or broader healthcare sector.
* Background in pharmaceutical sales or related medical fields highly regarded.
* Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment.
* Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Highly analytical, with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into effective sales strategies.
* Full Australian working rights.
