We translate strategy, demand and service expectations into clear, actionable workforce plans, ensuring the bank has the right people, with the right skills, in the right place at the right time. We partner closely with Retail Operations leaders and cross-domain stakeholders, using data and insights to navigate complexity and ensure we have the skills and capacity needed to serve customers effectively, safely and sustainably. Do Work that Matters We're seeking a Workforce Planning Manager to join us in shaping how we plan, understand and optimise our workforce across a dynamic and complex environment. This is a specialist role requiring strong stakeholder engagement skills, where you’ll partner with leaders to design practical, insight-led workforce plans that balance customer outcomes, efficiency, risk and employee experience.. As a Strategic Workforce Planning Manager, you may expect to; Lead the development of short and medium-term workforce plans, aligned to demand, strategy and operational priorities Translate complex data and demand signals into clear workforce insights and actions that support planning and decision-making. Identify patterns, trends and workforce flow dynamics to inform better decision-making Partner closely with stakeholders across Retail Operations to challenge, influence and shape workforce strategy Design solutions that account for real-world complexity, nuance and changing conditions What we’re looking for This is a Workforce Planning role first and foremost, supported by strong analytical capability. The ideal applicant will bring: Experience in workforce planning / workforce management / strategic planning within a complex environment The ability to think in systems, understanding workforce flow, dependencies and trade-offs Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to influence and challenge constructively A curious mindset, you ask why, explore patterns and dig beneath the surface Experience working with data to generate insights (e.g. Excel, SQL, dashboards or similar tools) The ability to translate data into meaningful, actionable insights, not just analysis If you're already part of the Commonwealth Bank Group (including Bankwest, x15ventures), you'll need to apply through Sidekick to submit a valid application.
