Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager – Technical Services (Electrical) to join Powertech, supporting our Brisbane Branch on a Full-Time Permanent Basis.

About The Role:
This role is pivotal in unlocking new and expanded opportunities with existing and new clients, working alongside our operational leaders and a parallel BDM who covers Engineering, EPC Projects, Renewables and Energy Transition. You will collaborate closely to cross sell the full Powertech capability, while owning services led opportunities end to end.
If you are a strong sales performer who understands electrical environments and can hold credibility with engineers, asset owners and plant managers, this role offers genuine influence and impact.
What You'll Be Doing
* Develop and close services-based sales opportunities
* Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline
* Shape tailored technical solutions with internal teams
* Cross-sell services across Powertech's service lines
* Lead negotiations and close profitable work
About You:
Requirements:
* Proven success in business development or technical sales roles
* Strong commercial acumen with a value-based selling approach
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Desirable:
* Electrical trade or Electrical Engineering background
* Exposure to industries such as Mining, Utilities, Oil & Gas or Renewables
