The Role
We're looking for a Senior Digital Strategist to take ownership of client performance across marketing, website experience and digital platforms.
This is a hands‐on, client‐facing role for someone who can think commercially, work across disciplines, and drive outcomes.
You will:
* lead client relationships
* understand how their business generates revenue
* identify where performance is breaking down
* and work with our team to improve it
You'll operate across marketing, UX and development, working closely with designers, developers and marketing specialists to deliver results.
You will also be involved in projects beyond traditional marketing, including customer journeys, internal tools, software projects and early‐stage platform or MVP thinking where required.
Key Responsibilities
Performance & Strategy Ownership
* Own performance across paid media, SEO, website and funnel
* Analyse GA4, ad platforms and CRM data to identify opportunities
* Make decisions on budget allocation, optimisation and growth direction
* Run client sessions with clear insight and direction
Website, UX & Conversion
* Identify and improve conversion bottlenecks across websites
* Work with design and development teams on UX, structure and functionality
* Guide landing pages, user journeys and on‐site performance
Marketing Execution & Optimisation
* Oversee and contribute to paid media across Meta and Google
* Contribute to and guide SEO strategy, including keyword direction, on‐page improvements and content opportunities
* Ensure campaigns align with business objectives and performance targets
* Continuously test, refine and improve outcomes
Systems, MVP & Product Thinking
* Contribute to discovery and planning of digital products, tools or workflows
* Map user journeys, inputs/outputs and functional requirements
* Work with developers to shape MVPs and platform improvements
* Identify when a solution requires a system or tool, not just marketing
AI, Automation & Innovation
* Identify opportunities to use AI and automation to improve performance and efficiency
* Contribute to AI‐driven workflows, content generation and data utilisation
* Work across emerging tools and internal systems to enhance delivery and scale
Collaboration & Commercial Growth
* Work directly with internal teams to prioritise high‐impact work
* Identify growth opportunities within client accounts
* Support strategic conversations and contribute to new business opportunities
Who You Are
Someone who will fit into a strong, collaborative team dynamic without ego, but with energy, initiative, and presence.
You are:
* 5+ years' experience in a digital marketing or performance role, with a strong agency background preferred
* demonstrated experience owning performance outcomes across multiple client accounts
* confident working across paid media, analytics and website performance without reliance on others
* commercially minded and focused on outcomes, not just activity
* confident working across marketing, UX and technical teams
* comfortable leading client conversations and making decisions
* hands‐on with platforms like GA4, Meta Ads and Google Ads, CRM, Shopify, Wordpress, and much much more...
* strong understanding of SEO fundamentals, including keyword strategy, on‐page optimisation and how search contributes to overall performance
* experienced in improving website performance and conversion
* able to work with developers and understand technical constraints
* comfortable working on problems beyond marketing, including workflows, tools and early‐stage product ideas
* detail‐oriented and organised, able to manage multiple clients and priorities
* naturally curious and proactive in finding better ways to solve problems
* extremely confident using AI and automation tools to support your work
