Job Description
The primary function of this role is to oversee the planning and execution of project management assignments worldwide. This position entails managing and/or coordinating project activities to ensure compliance with contractual obligations, while maintaining safety, quality, value, timeliness, and profitability.
Key responsibilities include:
* Monitoring progress, preparing procedures, documenting communications and meetings, and identifying/evaluating project issues and problems
* Coordinating and/or managing the efforts of technical disciplines, vendors, and licensors to ensure integrated and completed designs that meet project requirements and contractual obligations
* Supporting the creation and coordination of overall project plans and schedules, as well as monitoring activities, progress, and milestones against these plans
* Supporting the creation and coordination of project effort hours, cost estimates, and budgets, and monitoring progress and cost performance against these
* Coordinating the preparation, delivery, and coordination of project deliverables, design documents, and bid packages
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in an engineering field of study, and seven (7) years of work-related experience; a recognized professional certification or registration in the applicable field, if required
* Ability to communicate effectively with audiences including but not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
* Job-related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
* Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
* Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
