Reporting into the Sales Channel Manager, the new Channel Business Partner - West will be based at Balcatta office in Perth, Western Australia. You will play a key role in crucial role in enabling and growing Draeger's indirect sales channel by building strong commercial relationships with key distribution and reseller partners.
Key responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
* Design and implement joint business plans with Sales Channel Partners (SCPs);
* Drive partnership efficiencies using SCP dedicated digital systems and resources;
* Support partners in strategic bids and tenders, correctly positioning Draeger's portfolio;
* Maintain competitive presence with customers where direct sales coverage is not viable;
* Guide the channel dynamic with clear account ownership for direct / indirect approaches;
* Identify and prioritise new opportunities for growth in indirect markets;
* Funnel and forecast reviews with partners, prioritising the pipeline;
* Establish clear performance metrics and KPIs for each partner;
* Report on partner performance on revenue and activity targets;
* Support the management of indirect service requirements;
* Partner with internal stakeholders on channel campaigns and initiatives;
* Collaborate with the Sales team to achieve synergy for indirect/direct activities;
* Work with Technical Specialists to increase competence of partners;
* Deliver training and knowledge transfer for internal teams;
* Provide regular market feedback to Draeger leadership;
* Apply a compliance focused mindset across all operations, and;
* Always ensure a safety-first approach.
The ideal candidate will be equipped with the following attributes:
* Degree or tertiary qualification in a related field (preferred);
* Skilled at identifying customer needs and evolving buying signals;
* Working knowledge of business contracts, operations, and compliance;
* Experience in account, portfolio and business partnership management;
* Ability to develop competitive features, benefits and prepare quotes for customers;
* Well versed with performing arithmetic calculations, pricing structures, and gross margins;
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of applications;
* Adaptability and readiness to handle multiple, changing priorities in a fast-paced environment;
* Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn;
* Exemplary understanding of compliance rules, with a proactive mindset and the ability to act as a role model in upholding and promoting compliance standards, and;
* Excellent relationship building, stakeholder management, influencing, negotiation, facilitation interpersonal, communication, organisational, and task management skills.
A Police Check will be required for this position.
