Job Description:
The primary objective of this position is to provide effective support and assistance to children, young people, and families. This will involve working with clients in their homes, communities, and other settings as required.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing emotional and practical support to clients;
* Assisting with daily living tasks, such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household chores;
* Helping clients develop skills and strategies for independent living; and
* Working collaboratively with other service providers to ensure comprehensive support.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills and qualifications:
* A strong understanding of child development principles and practices;
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
* Flexibility and adaptability in responding to changing client needs; and
* Valid Working with Children Check and National Criminal History Check.
