Qualifications and experience
The ideal candidates will have at least 2-year experience.
Cert IV Commercial Cookery
References
Experience in high end restaurant establishments, preferrable.
Responsibilities
- Plan menus, estimate food and labour costs and order food supplies.
- Monitor quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation.
- Be a great mentor to other members of our team, while being able to work under pressure.
- Ability to train staff, by demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures.
- Confidently handle a busy service.
- Cook and present high-quality food.
- Efficiently and effectively manage your time.
- Operate within a culture of respect.
- Adhere to cleaning procedures.
- Maintain a clean and professional work space.
- Effectively and professionally troubleshoot operational problems with the Executive Chef.
