About the role
Due to continual growth within our company, we are currently looking for a Production Estimator with sound knowledge in Estimating to join our dynamic team on a full‐time basis.
Reporting directly to the Production Estimating Manager, the successful applicant will join a hard working team with a strong commitment to providing quality service.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure relationships with internal and external customers, supervisors, suppliers, trades people, agents and contractors are maintained and improved.
* Produce purchase/work orders and quantity take‐offs in a timely manner.
* Provide margin reports.
* Request and interpret quotations.
* Ensure jobs are cost‐effective and profitable.
* Assist in workflow of jobs in production.
Qualifications
* Australian work rights are required for this position.
* Minimum of 1 year's experience in an estimating role.
* Construction estimating experience is essential.
* Previous experience within the volume home building industry is preferred.
* Qualification in Building/Construction and/or trade experience is highly desirable.
* Working knowledge of the Building and Construction process.
* Exposure to estimating systems including DataBuild is highly advantageous.
* Ability to prioritise, multi‐task and meet deadlines.
* Self‐motivated and desire to succeed.
* Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
* Exceptional time management skills.
* Ability to solve problems in a logical and systematic manner.
