ALLFENIX is a premium Australian activewear brand with a growing wholesale and online presence across Australia and the US. As we scale, we are looking for a Commercial Finance Manager to take ownership of our financial operations and provide clear, commercially driven insight across the business.
This role is a key partner to the founders. You will be responsible for both the day-to-day financial execution and the higher-level financial performance of the business, helping guide decisions across product, inventory and growth.
The Commercial Finance Manager is responsible for owning financial accuracy, visibility and performance across ALLFENIX.
You will ensure the day-to-day finance function runs seamlessly, while also providing clear insight into cash flow, margins, inventory and profitability to support confident decision-making.
This is a hands-on role. You will initially manage everything from bookkeeping and payroll through to forecasting, P&L analysis and commercial insights. Over time, you will have the opportunity to build and lead the finance function as the business grows.
What you will own
Finance operations
* Weekly Xero reconciliations
* Accounts payable including supplier and factory invoices
* Accounts receivable
* End-to-end payroll, superannuation and employee entitlements
* BAS support in collaboration with external accountant
Financial visibility & reporting
* Weekly cash flow tracking and reporting
* Monthly P&L preparation and analysis
* Identifying risks, issues or irregularities early
* Margin analysis across products and categories
* Tracking landed costs and profitability
* Inventory analysis including stock position and sell-through
* Supporting buying decisions with financial insight
* Budgeting and cash flow forecasting
* Scenario planning to support growth decisions
Business partnering
* Work closely with founders across:
* Product and pricing decisions
* Inventory and production planning
* Cash and growth strategy
About you
* 7+ years experience in finance, bookkeeping or accounting roles
* Strong Xero experience across reconciliations, reporting and payroll
* Experience in eCommerce, retail, wholesale or inventory-based business (highly preferred)
* Confident managing both detailed execution and higher-level analysis
* Strong commercial mindset, not just compliance-focused
* Highly organised, proactive and comfortable working independently
* Clear communicator who can translate numbers into actions and decision making
* Flexible structure aligned to business needs
