Plant Nursery Assistant
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to fill a plant nursery position.
This is an all-weather job that requires a physically fit person who can work alone and as part of a team environment.
The ideal candidate will be a motivated and hardworking individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic setting.
* Picking out plants from the nursery stock
* Cleaning, labelling and preparing plants for sale or further cultivation
* Assisting with potting and other horticultural tasks
* Operating a four-wheel motorbike safely and efficiently
* Watering and maintaining the health of plants
* Carrying out weeding duties to maintain high standards of garden presentation
* Performing general labour duties as required
Experience with a front-end loader/tractor or willingness to learn is essential for this role.
Own transport is required, and the successful candidate will need to work Monday to Wednesday, with occasional Thursdays and/or Fridays.
