About the Role
As a Store Management Couple, you will oversee the daily operations of a busy remote community supermarket. Together you will ensure operational excellence across retail standards, compliance and team development while fostering meaningful relationships within the local community.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee ordering, merchandising and sale of stock
* Manage sales performance, budgets and reporting
* Lead, train and supervise a diverse team including local Indigenous employees
* Ensure compliance with WHS, food safety and licensing requirements
* Maintain store presentation and merchandising standards
* Build trusted relationships with community members and stakeholders
* Promote healthy living and culturally aware retail practices
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience in retail, grocery or supermarket management (both partners ideally)
* Strong leadership and mentoring skills
* Solid understanding of financials, stock control and compliance
* Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
* A calm, adaptable and community-minded approach
* Cultural awareness and respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
* Full Australian working rights and ability to obtain a National Police Check
