The Cafe Manager at the Burleigh Pavilion Kiosk is responsible for overseeing the daily operation of the venue's coffee and takeaway food service. Located outside the main Pavilion building, the Kiosk provides high-quality coffee, beverages, and quick takeaway food to guests enjoying the beachfront and surrounding precinct.
This role combines hands-on barista expertise with operational oversight, ensuring consistent product quality, efficient service, and a welcoming guest experience in a fast-paced environment. The Cafe Manager leads the Kiosk team, manages stock and ordering, maintains equipment and service standards, and works closely with the Head Chef and Procurement Manager to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Skills & Qualifications:
• Strong barista experience with excellent knowledge of espresso extraction and milk texturing

• Strong organisational skills with experience managing rostering and inventory
• Experience onboarding and training hospitality staff
• Understanding of labour cost management and operational reporting
• Knowledge of food safety and safe food handling practices
• High attention to detail in beverage preparation and service standards
