The Role
You will be responsible for our end-to-end Supply Chain Relationship Management in the AU/NZ. Covering
Print, Point of Sale(POSM) Promotional items and associated services warehouse, logistics (domestic and import) and installation.
This includes collaborative work developing and implementing supplier strategies and providing support to Business Development and Account Management teams as well as collaboration with suppliers for innovations and trends all with the aim of maximizing the value delivered to clients while meeting the business objectives of the organization
This role is responsible for the defined services in AU/NZ, based in Australia (NSW/QLD).
Key Responsibilities
Supplier Management and Relationships
* Identify suppliers for various categories as per business needs
* Manage all forms of supplier commuincations
* Manage supplier onboarding - evaluation, accreditation, and qualification process for delivery capabilities, environmental, quality, operational, audits and certification
* Develop and manage relationship with all suppliers
* Develop and implement strategic partnership with key suppliers and wider team
* Conduct periodic supplier performance review/site inspections and implement corrective actions
* Engage with suppliers to achieve efficiency and effectiveness in our operating model
* Ensure high ethical standards related to the management of the supply chain projects, identifying key improvement project to enhance collaboration and performance
* Manage/assist non-conformance reports (NCR) including performance improvement warnings and penalties to suppliers and recording
* Act as an escalation point and work with internal stakeholders to resolve issues with supplier performance
* Support business with regards to Supplier' open order management
* Perform production site inspections
* Risk management of supply chain - ensure adequate pool of compliant suppliers, ability to deliver on client commitments
* Coordinate and facilitate issue resolution between supplier and Indicia Finance (payments, taxes, compliances, etc)
* Manage all forms of supplier communications
* Maintain local industry and trade connection via forums and associations
* Facilitate supplier training in our systems and process
* Promote best practice, ethical Governance and sustainability in the supply chain
Co-ordinate with Centre of Excellence – Supplier relationship team
* Supplier onboarding and registration
* Contract amendments, renewals, and compliances
* Trainings to suppliers
* Establishing term sheets
Category management and Sourcing (in conjunction with P&SC Specialists)
* Develop and execute appropriate category management and sourcing strategies within assigned categories, includes promotional print and packaging, displays & signages, temporary & permanent displays, digital POSM and marketing activation
* Supplier identifications in local markets for sourcing of Gifts and Premiums
* Provide category expertise to internal customers and support Business Development activities with sourcing and pricing
* Effective and efficient negotiation for all rate contracts
* Ensure meeting of high ethical standards related to sourcing process
* Contribute to a positive work environment and promote teamwork
Skills, knowledge, experience and exposure
* 5+ years of all-around experience in successful management of supply chain
* Includes sourcing and purchasing, supplier onboarding, audits and quality inspections for promotion print, POSM and premiums
* Experiences of building strategies for procurement of promotional material
* Experiences of delivering value-based innovation
* Experiences in usage of sourcing tools and proficient communication skills
* Experience of logistics - both domestic and international (import)
* Preferable bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, supply chain or engineering
Mindset to navigate the role
* Detail Orientated, commercial, focussed on building and improving service and process via ethical, open and honest strategy and discussion.
* Self confident and independent with ability to operate as part of a larger Regional team.
* Strong negotiation skills with commercial acumen to maximize the value delivery to Indicia and clients
Role Requirements
Some travel along with out of hours and flexible working will be required
