Overview
We're looking for a dynamic, results-driven Recruitment Coordinator to join our team at Nyaal Banyul Geelong Convention and Event Centre as we prepare to open our doors in July 2026.
This fixed-term opportunity will see you play a critical role in building our workforce, supporting People & Culture and Senior Managers to recruit and onboard a high volume of casual team members across Hospitality, Logistics, Event Set-Ups and Kitchen operations
About the role
Working closely with the People & Culture Business Partner, you will
* Write, post and manage recruitment advertisements
* Screen candidates and coordinate high-volume shortlisting
* Schedule and organise individual and group interviews
* Support onboarding and pre-employment processes
* Act quickly and responsively to a competitive recruitment market
* Actively promote Nyaal Banyul as an employer of choice in the Geelong region
Your ability to move fast, stay organised and create a great candidate experience will be key to success in this role
About you
You will be
* A self-starter with proven experience in a high-volume Recruitment Coordinator or Recruitment Consultant role
* Highly organised, with strong administrative and multitasking skills
* A confident and engaging communicator, comfortable coordinating group interviews
* Experienced or familiar with the hospitality and/or events industry (advantageous but not essential)
* Energised by fast-paced environments and tight timelines
