What To Expect

Service Supervisors are leaders of our workshop teams and are responsible for the effective and efficient daily service operations, ensuring customer satisfaction is premium. In this role, you will manage Service Technicians and Apprentices, delivering an impeccable service experience to Tesla customers and preparing Tesla Service teams to meet the needs of our Model S, Model X, Model 3, and beyond. You will work closely with Service Management to strategize as we scale.


What You'll Do

1. Ensure our Service team delivers excellent results and achieves goals consistently across customers, people, operations, and financials.
2. Focus on customer satisfaction by exceeding expectations, monitoring service trends, and continuously improving standards and processes.
3. Lead and develop your team, fostering open communication, problem-solving, and a positive work environment. Mentor future Tesla leaders and provide regular coaching.
4. Own performance metrics of the service center, driving continuous improvements to enhance team output and customer service, while championing safety, efficiency, and quality.
5. Understand and manage the center’s financials, including productivity, quality, output, costs, and revenue/margin, in collaboration with the Service Manager.
6. Act in Tesla’s best interests, with a passion for our mission, people, and customers.
7. Develop technical knowledge of Tesla products, Service systems, processes, and procedures.


What You'll Bring

1. Experience as a Foreman, Workshop Controller, Assistant Service Manager, or Service Manager.
2. Qualified motor mechanic, Diagnostic Technician, or Master Technician preferred.
3. Leadership experience managing diverse teams and responsibilities.
4. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance, repair methods, tools, and electronic systems.
5. Valid driver’s license and insurance.
6. Good verbal English skills.
7. Occasional interstate and international travel.
