The Role
Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, this hands-on Finance Officer role will see you managing day to day financial operations and contributing to the smooth running of a busy finance function. You'll take ownership of both Accounts Payable and Receivable processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all financial transactions.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Processing invoices, payments, and reconciliations accurately and on time
* Managing billing, receipting, and debt collection activities
* Assisting with month-end journals and reporting
* Maintaining supplier and customer records
* Supporting internal and external audit processes
* Liaising across teams to resolve queries and drive process improvements
Skills and Experience
You're an experienced and detail-oriented finance professional who thrives in a collaborative environment. You take pride in your accuracy, bring a proactive approach to your work, and enjoy contributing to a purpose-led organisation.
You'll bring:
* 2+ years' experience in Accounts Payable and/or Receivable
* Sound understanding of reconciliations and accounting principles
* Strong Excel and financial systems skills
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability
