An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced and passionate Registered Nurse to join the Oncology/Haematology team at a private hospital in Sydney. It is a permanent full-time position.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You will be supporting our 28-bed ward providing care to our patients. Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Department Manager, Clinical Nurse, Team and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered in line with the care values and strategic direction of the hospital.
As a member of the medical team, you will be responsible for the following:
* Delivering education and support to patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life needs;
* Working collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs;
* Acting as a role model for Safe Practice.
REQUIREMENTS
* Current registration with AHPRA;
* Minimum of three years of experience in an acute health care setting;
* Recent experience in a medical ward;
* Previous chemotherapy administration would be desirable (or working towards);
* Ability to work a rotating roster.

REMUNERATION
$36.65 - $51.47 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
