Join a leading mining project in Queensland's Bowen Basin, contributing to large-scale coal mine expansion works. This is a FIFO role on a Monday to Friday roster, offering excellent project exposure and strong day rates.
What's On Offer
- FIFO to Bowen Basin (Mon-Fri roster)
- Competitive daily rate: $1000 - $1150 per day
- Prospect to work on major mine expansion projects
Key Responsibilities:
- Support planning and delivery of mine expansion works to budget, schedule, and safety standards
- Coordinate contractors, suppliers, and site activities to ensure smooth execution
- Assist with project schedules, cost tracking, and progress reporting
- Review technical drawings, specifications, and ensure design compliance
- Monitor quality, safety, and environmental requirements across all works
- Contribute to problem-solving, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Liaise with senior engineers, project managers, and site supervisors to meet project objectives
Key Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering (essential)
- Standard 11 certification (essential)
- Coal Board Medical (preferred, or ability to obtain)
- Previous project engineering experience on mine or major infrastructure projects
- Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to work in a site-based team environment
