What's on offer?

Fulton Hogan delivers the TMR North Coast Region Road Asset Maintenance Contract which includes Programmed and Routine Maintenance works. A fundamental requirement of the contract involves anticipating and managing customer needs through community engagement.

Our Opportunity:

An excellent opportunity has presented for a Community & Stakeholder Engagement Officer to support our TMR counterpart, in managing project specific consultation and communication to minimise complaints, and lead and participate in the development, implementation, facilitation and ongoing delivery of engagement activities.

You will work closely with Fulton Hogan's Programmed and Routine Maintenance delivery teams, assessing forward works schedules to proactively anticipate and manage their impact on the community. This role requires a thorough understanding of the contract and associated management plans, the construction and maintenance works undertaken on a daily, weekly and monthly basis, flexibility, agility and a high-level of responsiveness.

Your Contribution:

* You will lead and manage identified program planning and management activities to ensure effective implementation of program objectives within established timelines and budgets. You will need to provide advice on program changes affecting our client and adapt the implementation of communication plans accordingly.
* Perform regular community engagement analysis and reporting.
* Receive, record, report on, assess, action and respond to all incoming correspondence via phone and e-mail, including damage claims, maintenance requests, complaints, requests for further information.
* For delivery of works, you will be required to assess stakeholder impact and prepare the required communications submissions, prepare reports, briefing materials, presentations, communication materials and correspondence for our client and key stakeholders.
* You will report to the program director and be part of the Contract Delivery Team, required to attend Contract Delivery Team meetings monthly at which you will present a monthly stakeholder engagement report which looks at communication activities of the past month, and anticipates the next.

Let's Connect:

With practical experience in a similar role, you will demonstrate experience in maintenance activities, with TMR experience seen as advantageous. You will be a strategic thinker, have contractual experience in contract delivery, and be able to recognise how communications fits into the wider contract. You will have an innate ability to harness and nurture internal and external stakeholder relationships, and an ability to work collaboratively within a complex and diverse environment. As a solid performer, with professional acumen and exceptional communication skills, you will be confident in your influencing and negotiating capability.

Our people share the same set of values that keep us REAL.
