You'll assist in maintaining administrative processes, compiling reports, handling enquiries, and supporting internal meetings and events.

Administration Officer – $45‐50/hour + super
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Duration: 6‐month contract with possible extension
Key Responsibilities
* Provide a range of administrative services including document management, photocopying, purchasing, and filing
* Receive, sort, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail and correspondence
* Maintain internal registers and shared files to ensure accuracy and compliance
* Assist in the preparation of reports, meeting agendas, presentations, and routine documentation
* Support meeting logistics including booking venues, taking minutes, and coordinating follow‐ups
* Respond to internal and external enquiries with professionalism, escalating when appropriate
* Update and maintain electronic records and databases in line with record‐keeping standards
* Assist in the coordination of small‐scale events or workshops as needed
* Ensure procurement and office supplies are maintained according to team needs
* Liaise with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to support service delivery outcomes
About You
* Previous experience in an administrative, office support, or coordination role within government or a similar environment
* Strong organisational and time management skills with a keen eye for detail
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with internal record management systems
* Confident communicator with excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
* Ability to handle sensitive or confidential information with discretion
* Comfortable working independently and managing multiple tasks in a deadline‐driven environment
* Knowledge of government record‐keeping or administrative policies is highly desirable
* Must have full Australian working rights (citizenship, permanent residency, or long‐term visa holders)
