About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Civil/Structural Engineer to join our team in Wollongong. As a Principal Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality structural design and load rating projects, particularly in mining, ports, marine, and transport infrastructure (bridges, roads, rail).
* Provide technical leadership and act as the client contact for key projects.
* Undertake site inspections, assessing structural defects and defining upgrades.
* Guide and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with colleagues in other offices.
* Contribute to building the reputation of the practice through quality project delivery.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will be a degree-qualified Civil/Structural Engineer with 10+ years' industry experience, including exposure to mining, marine and transport structures. Proficiency with structural analysis software is essential, along with strong technical skills in design, analysis, stakeholder engagement, and project management.
