Position Description

Recognised as one of the world’s largest IT and business consulting firms, CGI partners with clients across Australia’s public and private sectors to solve complex business challenges and deliver meaningful transformation. We are seeking a commercially driven Director Consulting Services (Strategic Sales) to lead client growth, strategic deal shaping, and revenue expansion across a portfolio of key accounts. In this senior role, you will work at the intersection of strategy, business consulting, and technology delivery, driving the growth of CGI’s most significant client relationships and opportunities. Your future duties and responsibilities

Drive revenue growth across a portfolio of strategic clients, owning pipeline, sales targets, profitability, and overall financial performance. Lead complex, multi-disciplinary deal pursuits, shaping and closing large strategic opportunities across consulting, systems integration, and managed services. Build and expand C-suite relationships as a trusted advisor, co-creating transformational strategies aligned to client needs and CGI capabilities. Identify and develop new business opportunities, leading proposals and end-to-end deal execution. Collaborate with delivery and technical experts to design innovative, scalable, and commercially sound solutions leveraging cloud, AI, data, and emerging technologies. Support delivery teams to ensure high-quality outcomes, strong client satisfaction, and alignment to commercial objectives. Build and leverage CGI’s global networks, engage with alliance partners, represent CGI in the market, and contribute to strategy by identifying emerging trends and opportunities. Required qualifications to be successful in this role

Proven experience in sales, business development, account or deal leadership within IT services/consulting, delivering high-value deals (>$10M) across multiple stakeholders, solution domains, and commercial models. Strong ability to build trusted C-suite relationships, influence executive decision-making, and negotiate complex deals. Solid understanding of consulting, systems integration, and managed services, with the ability to translate client challenges into business and technology solutions. Commercially astute, with experience shaping deals, proposals, and value-based pricing strategies. Demonstrated leadership experience, working closely with delivery teams to achieve client outcomes and meet revenue targets. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and storytelling skills, with a collaborative, outcomes-focused approach. Deep industry expertise in one or more sectors (Financial Services preferred; Government or Utilities also relevant). Experience within or alongside global consulting or technology firms is advantageous. Skills
