The Role We’re seeking experienced Welders / Fabricators to join our Pakenham team. You’ll be responsible for welding, fabrication, and assembly of steel components in line with AS1554.1 & 6 standards, working across MIG, TIG, Stick, and Fluxcore processes.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Welding and fabrication of structural steel components (MIG, TIG, Stick, Fluxcore)
- Reading and interpreting workshop and engineering drawings
- Assisting with fitting and assembly of fabricated parts
- Maintaining high quality and safety standards at all times
What We’re Looking For
- Proven welding experience – trade qualification desirable but not essential
- Strong MIG, TIG, Stick, and Fluxcore welding skills
- Ability to read and work from drawings
- Reliable, motivated, and safety-conscious team player
- Previous welding qualifications and/or ability to pass weld tests
