Chef Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our Residential Aged Care team on a part-time basis. As part of our Hotel Services team, you will be responsible for managing all operational requirements in a commercial kitchen, with the support of a dedicated team.
This role involves preparing and cooking high-quality meals for senior residents, adapting dishes to suit dietary and allergy requirements, ensuring all food is prepared, cooked, and served in accordance with legislation, and managing employee matters including rostering, training, and performance.
Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:
* Certificate IV Commercial Cookery or similar qualification
* Food Handling and Hygiene certificate
* Demonstrated experience in a commercial kitchen in aged care or hospital setting
* Demonstrated knowledge of State Food Safe regulations
* Previous experience in managing team performance
* Current national police check (or ability to obtain one)
* Evidence of Australian work rights
* Covid-19 and Flu vaccination evidence in line with current requirements
