Sales Representative
McCormack Industries has been a family owned and operated business located in Aubigny since 1984. McCormack's is widely renowned as "the front-end loader people" and have recently been acquired by the Digga Group. McCormack's Industries service the agricultural and mining sectors and manufacture products in the top of their class and consistently exceed their customers' expectations.
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Sales Representative to join our sales team. The position will be based at our Aubigny office and will be assigned a territory to cover. Travel may also form part of this role, including long-distance road travel with overnight stays and interstate/overseas travel. In this unique role, great time management will be a key component of your weekly & monthly activities. Your time will consist of on-the-road activities coupled with internal sales and support.
You will possess the ability to build and maintain key relationships with the goal of increasing the performance of your assigned territory whilst maintaining high levels of customer service.
Responsibilities
Build effective customer relations by understanding your customers' needs and requirements.Conduct regular customer reviews and deliver agreed outcomes within designated timelines.Seek and attend to all customer enquiries via in person meetings, or via phone & email.Monitor market activity and implement sales strategies in line with market intel.Provide product training and support to McCormack's dealer network.Attend to customer enquiries, prepare quotations and process customer orders as required.Assist in the preparation and organisation of selected trade shows and attend as required.
Experience & Qualifications
Highly developed sales techniques or experience in a similar role/industry.Excellent communication/negotiation skillsHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailSelf-motivated with drive to meet and exceed results.Experience with CRM/ERP systems is highly desirable.Current drivers' licence required.
